Auglaize County Board of Elections

WAPAKONETA — The Auglaize County Board of Elections will meet in special session, Monday, Dec. 21, at 9:30 a.m. in the administration office, 209 S. Blackhoof St., Room 205, Wapakoneta..

The board will certify petitions for the March primary, approve dates for poll worker training and discuss a winter conference and write-in candidates.

Sidney Board of Education

SIDNEY — The Sidney Board of Education will meet Monday, Dec. 21, at 6 p.m. in the board office.

The board will consider participating in a cooperative purchasing program, approving a roof replacement at the high school, and continuing membership in the Ohio School Boards Association, and will act on personnel matters.

Jackson Center Board of Education

JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center Board of Education will meet Monday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m.

The board will consider authorizing the purchase of an industrial floor scrubber and the purchase of adjacent real estate. The board also will consider activity account purpose and budget requests. The board will hold an executive session to discuss the employment. The board will elect a president pro-tempore for the January organizational meeting, which will be held Jan. 11 at 7 p.m.

Hardin-Houston Board of Education

HOUSTON — The Hardin-Houston Board of Education will meet on Monday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m. in the media center. They will approve monthly financial reports and expenditures for November 2015, address personnel issues, and approve supplemental contracts.

Jackson Center Village Council

JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center Village Council has moved their final meeting of 2015 to Monday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m. There will not be a meeting on Monday, Dec. 28.

Because of the council meeting being moved, the finance committee will meet on Monday, Dec. 21 at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers.

New Knoxville Board of Education

NEW KNOXVILLE — The New Knoxville Board of Education will meet in regular session, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m. in the school library.

Fort Loramie Board of Education

FORT LORAMIE — The Fort Loramie Board of Education will meet in regular session, Monday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m. in the media center.

On the agenda are resolutions to authorize bond refunding, setting a date for the organization meeting in January, adoption of revised board policies, approval of administrative, supplemental and substitute teacher contracts and approval of volunteer coaches and advisers.

Sidney Planning Commission

SIDNEY — The Sidney Planning Commission will meet Monday, Dec. 21, at 7:30 p.m. in City Council chambers.

The commission will consider reappointing Patricia Miller as one of the city’s representatives to the Shelby County Regional Planning Commission.

The commission also will consider a request by Choice One Engineering, on behalf of Karoc Ltd. (Marathon gas station/convenience store), for approval of a replat of two lots to create one new lot at 402 W. Hoewisher Road. The purpose of the replat is to allow for the construction of a storage building.
