Darla, left, and Tim Dietz, both of Botkins, take part in the Right to Life of Shelby County Candlelight Vigil Thursday, Jan. 21. The vigil was held to mark the anniversary of the court case Roe v Wade which legalized abortion on Jan. 22, 1973. Participants walked around the Shelby County Courthouse and prayed for the end of abortion. The vigil program director is Kevin Schmiesing. Hot chocolate was served to participants after the walk.
