Students earn degrees from Ohio State


COLUMBUS – The Ohio State University released the list of students who earned degrees at commencement on Dec. 13, 2020.

The university awarded 3,751 degrees at the ceremony, including 208 doctoral, three professional, 424 master’s, 2,638 bachelor’s, 438 associate degrees and 40 certificates.

Cole Michael Albers, of Anna, graduated with an associate of science degree. McKenzie Lynn Bertsch, of Anna, graduated with an associate of arts degree. Rachel Ann Gehret, of Anna, graduated summa cum laude with an associate of arts degree.

Joshua Madden, of Anna, graduated with an associate of arts degree. Nathan Michael Stiefel, of Anna, graduated with a bachelor of science in materials science and engineering.

Crystal Lee Altstaetter, of Botkins, graduated with an associate of arts degree. Rebecca Marie Berning, of Botkins, graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science in business administration.

Adrian Todd Speelman, of Minster, graduated with a bachelor of science in agriculture.

Kennedy Elizabeth Hoying, of New Bremen, graduated with a bachelor of arts with a research distinction in psychology, graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts and graduated with an associate of arts.

Ryley Jean Schaefer, of New Bremen, graduated with an associate of arts degree. Caitlyn Lorma Topp, of New Bremen, graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree.

Claire Christine Gabel, of New Knoxville, graduated cum laude with an associate of arts degree. Logan Abram Leffel, of New Knoxville, graduated with a bachelor of science in agriculture.

Christina Marie Gaerke, of Russia, graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science in agriculture. Rudy James Langenkamp, of Russia, graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree.
