SIDNEY — The Shelby County Animal Rescue Foundation (SCARF) will be holding its annual Walk to End Parvo on Saturday, May 8, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Shelby County Courthouse.

Registration will begin at 10 a.m. for this fun filled event that is held to raise the funds needed to purchase the Parvo and Distemper vaccines needed for the animals in the care of the Shelby County Animal Shelter.

It is also the mission of SCARF to educate the public and raise awareness of how this deadly disease is 100% preventable. Come enjoy a morning with door prizes, hospitality tent, dog treats, and lots of furry friends.

Pre-registration is suggested and will qualify walkers for a free Walk to End Parvo T-shirt. Visit www.helpshelbycountyanimals.com to register for the event.
