Commissioners approve annexation to the village of Anna

SIDNEY – The Shelby County commissioners approved the annexation of land to the village of Anna and authorized advertising for bids for two projects among their recent actions.

The commissioners approved the annexation of 22.128 acres to the village of Anna as petitioned by TRED Properties, L.L.C., on June 29.

The commissioners authorized advertising for bids for the P25 Phase II, Trunked, Repeated, 700/800 Mhz Simulcast Next Generation Public Safety Radio System Project on June 8. Bids are to be submitted by 11 a.m. Oct. 5.

They authorized advertising for bids for the Board of Elections wall replacement project on July 1. Bids are to be submitted by 11 a.m. July 22.

The commissioners approved payment of weekly expenditures totaling $387,490.16 on June 3, $671,473.51 on June 10, $1,187,715.21 on June 17, $275,936.82 on June 29 and $350,074.92 on July 1.

They transferred $190,022.02 sales tax revenue from the General Fund to the Engineer’s Fund and transferred $190,022.03 sales tax revenue from the General Fund to the Capital Improvement Fund on June 22.
