New Year’s Baby arrives at Joint Township

ST. MARYS — The first baby of 2022 was born at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022 at 11:48 p.m.

Audrey Kaye Stump, daughter of Lucas and Kayla Stump, of Union City, weighed in at 6 pounds 9 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.

Her maternal grandparents are Carol Hawkins of Richmond, Indiana, and Willie Hawkins of Hagerstown, Indiana. Her paternal grandparents are Dwight and Kathy Stump, of Fort Recovery.

The New Year’s baby born at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital receives a case of diapers, a blanket handmade by hospital volunteers and $100 from the hospital.
