SIDNEY – The orange construction barrels have hit local roadways.

In Shelby County, the Ohio Department of Transportation is working on the state Route 47 sidewalk reconstruction project in Sidney.

Drivers should expect lane restrictions and a traffic pattern shift on state Route 47 between I interstate 75 Interchange and Fourth Avenue through Friday, April 15. The city of Sidney is shifting the state Route 47 westbound traffic onto the eastbound side. Crews are reconstructing the center median and installing handicap ramps. In Logan County,

the state Route 274 culvert replacement project will begin April 11. Drivers should expect road restrictions on state Route 274 between County Road 39 and Township Road 238, on Monday, April 11, through Friday, April 15, from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. Crews will be replacing a culvert in the area.

The detour is state Route 117 East to U.S. 33 East to U.S. 68 North to state Route 274.

State Route 235 maintenance project will see state Route 235 to close, between Blue Street and Mill Street, also between Main Street and Koke Street, on Tuesday, April 19, through Monday, April 25, from 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Crews will be repairing manholes in the area.

The detour is state Route 706 westbound to state Route 29 westbound to state Route 47 eastbound to state Route 235.
