TROY — Upper Valley Medical Center (UVMC) will host a wellness fair on Friday, June 10, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Lincoln Community Center, 110 Ash St., Troy.
Free blood pressure and glucose screenings will be provided by Premier Community Health. Please note: no food or beverages other than water should be consumed at least two to three hours prior to a glucose screening.
UVMC departments and several community organizations will host booths featuring wellness information, handouts, and interactive opportunities. Light refreshments will be available.
The wellness fair will re-launch UVMC Free Monthly Health Screenings that had been offered in communities throughout Miami County prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. The monthly screenings will include blood pressure and glucose checks provided by Premier Community Health nurses.
