ODOT seeking public comments on upcoming projects

SIDNEY – The Ohio Department of Transportation District 7 is seeking public comments regarding the following projects:

• D07-BH FY 18, PID 95833 – ODOT proposes to undertake maintenance activities on eight bridges throughout District 7.

• D07-BH FY 18A, PID 98633 – ODOT proposes to undertake necessary maintenance activities at the state Route 47 bridge over Mill Creek in Bokes Creek Township (Logan County) and the state Route 66 bridge over Loramie Creek in Cynthian Township (Shelby County).

• DAR-571-17.05, PID 99037 – ODOT proposes to realign the intersection Arcanum-Bears Mill Road at its intersection with State Route 571 in Van Buren Township, Darke County, for improved safety.

• MIA-East Ash Street Bikeway, PID 97899 – The city of Piqua proposes to extend the multi-use trail that will be constructed under MIA-36-11.34 project (PID 95925) from Scott Drive to Looney Road. The project will also include crossing improvements at Scott Driver/Center Court, the I-75 ramps, and Looney Road.

• SHE-IR75-08.53, PID 102831 – The Ohio Department of Transportation proposes to provide traffic signals and dedicated right-turn lanes at the Interstate 75 exit ramps to state Route 29, northwest of Sidney. The project is intended to reduce congestion and improve safety.

Comments may be submitted by contacting the individual below. Issues the public may wish to comment on include, but are not limited to, the effect of the project on local residents, air quality, the local economy, and historic or cultural resources. Comments should be submitted by Friday, May 27, 2016.
