SIDNEY — Community Action Organization of Delaware, Madison & Union Counties (also serving Champaign, Logan and Shelby counties) has three electric utility programs that are funded by AEP, Dayton Power & Light, and Ohio Edison.

Customers of any of these three companies may qualify for energy savings measures for their homes. Income eligibility is 200 percent of the federal poverty guidelines.

The following are some of the energy efficiency baseload measures that CAO may be able to provide: compact fluorescent bulbs; replacement of inefficient refrigerators with energy savings models; insulating water heaters and pipes; installation of water-saving showerhead.
