American Legion Post 355 holds meeting

FORT LORAMIE – The Fort Loramie American Legion Post 355 meeting was held recently and general business was discussed.

Eileen Barhorst reported the tickets were all sent out for the raffle to be held in October. She also reported that ditty bags were still needed and Sandy Barhorst has access to the type of material needed and also can cut the bags to the exact size.

Norma Siegel has volunteered to take Rosie Raterman’s place as Membership Chair Person.

Sue Puthoff requested that a list of items that are needed by the Veterans and a box to put items in should be placed somewhere in the building.

Buckeye Girls State Representatives shared what they learned. They learned how the government operates which they found very interesting. One girl made a map of Ohio and she had painted out on the map where all the girls came from in Ohio. They also thanked the auxiliary for the opportunity to attend and enjoyed it.
