BOTKINS – Several of the churches of the Botkins community have been hard at work planning the 2nd Annual Community Christian Music Festival that will be held on Sunday, Sept. 20.

It is open to any and all to come and enjoy the music of many of the community’s talented, local musicians.

The festival will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church located at 301 E. State St. It will be from 2 to 5 p.m. There will be hot dogs, popcorn, and cookies – all free to the public.

There will be a clown to entertain the children as well as face painting and a bounce house (weather permitting). Activities will be happening outside the church, in the basement, and in the sanctuary.

Many of the musical performers will be students of Kristin Vaubel – a local music instructor. Performers from elementary age to adult will represent all of the sponsoring churches – St. Lawrence Catholic Church of Rhine, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Paul Lutheran Church, and the Botkins United Methodist Church.

All of the food and activities are free and offered to the public as a part of the outreach to the community. Whether you are a member of any of these churches, a different church, or do not attend church at all – you are welcome and invited to come and enjoy this special afternoon.
