Anna Board of Education
ANNA — The Anna Local School Board of Education will meet Monday, March 13, at 6:30 p.m. in Room 209 at the middle school. Reports will be given about the high school, middle school and elementary school. Board reports, renovation update and board policy update will be given.
Sidney City Council
SIDNEY — The Sidney City Council will meet Monday, March 13, at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers in the Municipal Building.
Council will hear an update on the Sidney-Shelby County Senior Center.
Council will be introduced two ordinances for assessment of weed cutting or junk/litter removal costs and for an extension of the existing medical marijuana moratorium until Oct. 9, 2017.
Council is also expected to adopt two resolutions for authorization to submit a proposal to the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) for grants through the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) for funding from the Ohio grants for buses and bus facilities program; and to confirm the city manager’s recommendations on Sidney Waterpark admission fees.
There will also be a discussion on the city’s purchasing credit card policy.
In addition, council will also hold an executive session to prepare for negotiations or bargaining sessions with public employees.
Botkins Board of Education
BOTKINS — The Botkins Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m., March 13 in the media center at the school. The board will discuss a tax abatement and the basketball program. They will also nonrenew all supplemental contracts, approve resolutions of commendation, accept tax rates of the budget commission, approve volunteers and hire personnel.
Jackson Center Village Council
JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center Village Council will meet Monday, March 13, at 7 p.m. in council chambers.
Items on the agenda include a resolution for an agreement for construction of the waste water treatment plant improvement project between the village and the Ohio Water Development Authority and to accept a bid for the park, detention pond and Linden/Davis/South streets reconstruction projects. Reports from various officials will also be given.
Van Buren Township Zoning Board of Appeals
KETTLERSVILLE — The Van Buren Township Zoning Board of Appeals will meet March 14, at 7:30 p.m., in the Van Buren Township Building in Kettlersville.
The board will consider a proposed variance for a front yard setback at 13016 Luthman Road.
Tri-County Board of Recovery & Mental Health Services
TROY — The Tri-County Board of Recovery & Mental Health Services will meet Wednesday, March 15, at 6:45 p.m. in the Marianne Helmlinger Board Room, 1100 Wayne St., Suite 4000, Troy.
