SIDNEY — The Shelby County Highway Department will be sealing the concrete bridge deck on the County Road 25A bridge over the Great Miami River beginning Thursday, Sept. 24, according to County Engineer Bob Geuy.

The work will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Thursday and crews will resume their work again Friday morning. County Road 25A will re-open to all traffic Friday at 3:30 p.m.

At this time, crews will be removing dead ash trees along the roadway in the vicinity of the bridge.

A detour to all traffic is being provided using Sulphur Heights Hill Road to get around the work site.
