-8:01 a.m.: theft. Deputies investigated the theft of masonry supplies in the 13000 block of Wones Road in Jackson Township.
THURSDAY
-6:32 p.m.: theft. Deputies investigated the theft of a cell phone in the 100 block of North Liberty Street in Loramie Township.
Accident
Heather Tobias, 26, 301 Diamond Drive, Anna, was not cited after an accident on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
She was traveling eastbound on East Main Street at Linden Avenue in Anna when Madyson Hoelscher, 10, ran into the roadway. Tobias struck Hoelscher with the left front of the vehicle.
Tobias said she did not see the young girl due to a box truck stopped on the roadway facing westbound on East Main Street. Hoelscher said she was attempting to cross the street and did not see the car because of the truck blocking her view to the west.
Hoelscher was transported by Anna Rescue to Wilson Memorial Hospital with a right upper-leg injury.
Fire, rescue
FRIDAY
-2:32 p.m.: fire. Russia Fire Department responded to Redmond Road for grain smoldering in a combine hopper.
-1:04 p.m.: fire. Russia, Fort Loramie, Houston, and Lockington Fire Departments responded to Aiken Road at Fessler-Buxton Road for a field fire.
-10:17 a.m.: fire. Houston, Lockington, Maplewood, Perry-Port-Salem, Port Jefferson, Sidney, Fletcher, Quincy and St. Paris Fire departments responded to the 17000 block of Deam Road in Green Township for a first-alarm structure fire.
-9:15 a.m.: medical. Houston Rescue responded to the 8000 block of Lehman Road in Washington Township.
THURSDAY
-4:43 p.m.: medical. Perry-Port-Salem Rescue responded to the intersection of state Route 29 and state Route 589 in Green Township.
