SIDNEY — Area residents who have lost loved ones will have an opportunity to remember them in a memorial service sponsored by Wilson Hospice, Sunday, Oct. 18, at 2 p.m. in the Cameo Theatre at the Senior Center of Sidney-Shelby County, 304 S. West Ave.

“The service is a memorial service, not just for hospice patients, but for the whole community, and everyone is welcome to attend,” said the Rev. Phil Chilcote, Wilson Hospice chaplain and bereavement coordinator.

The theme of this year’s annual event is “Celebrate Life.” It will include music by Scott Oglesby. Each member of the audience will have an opportunity to light a candle in memory or honor of a loved one.

The doors will open at 1 p.m. for an hour of fellowship and refreshments before the service.
