BOTKINS — Brian Holthaus, 33, was listed in fair condition at Miami Valley Hospital Friday afternoon, a hospital spokeswoman said, after he fell 20 feet on Wednesday.

Police Chief Wayne Glass said Holthaus, an electrical contractor employee, was working alone on a light at The Palazzo Wednesday, around 12:45 p.m., when possibly a ladder shifted and he fell.

CareFlight responded to the scene and landed in a field across from The Palazzo and took Holthaus to the hospital. Botkins Police, Botkins firefighters and Anna Rescue responded to the scene.
