SIDNEY — Shelby County commissioners have awarded contracts during recent meetings.

A&A Safety was contracted for the 2017 paint-striping program at a cost of $62,226.

In other business, the commissioners:

• Approved annexation of 10.010 acres to the village of Russia as petitioned by Daniel and Bonnie Paulus.

• Approved an enterprise zone agreement between Shelby County, city of Sidney and Fresh Unlimited Inc. dba Freshway Foods.

• Approved an enterprise zone agreement between Shelby County, city of Sidney and Perfection Bakeries, Inc.

• Authorized advertising for bids to be received for an addition to Fair Haven Shelby County Home. Bids will be opened Oct. 24, 2017, at 2 p.m.
