Sidney Board of Education

SIDNEY — The Sidney City Schools Board of Education will meet Monday, Nov. 6, at 6 p.m. at the board office. Michael Moore, Emerson Elementary School principal, will give a report to the board about the school year. The board will also hold a first reading of new/revised policies for the district. A resignation will be accepted and contracts will be awarded.

Sidney City Council

SIDNEY — The Sidney City Council will hold a workshop session meeting on Monday, Nov. 6, at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers in the Municipal Building.

There will be a discussion about the city’s 2018 budget.

Council will review the upcoming Zoning Board/Planning Commission Agenda for Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, and review the prospective City Council Agenda items for the next 30 days.

Council will also go into an executive session to consider the employment of a public employee.

Fairlawn Board of Education

SIDNEY — The Fairlawn Local School District Board of Education will meet Thursday, Nov. 9, at 6:30 p.m. in Room 122.

The board will hear reports from administrators and fellow board members, discuss approving a resolution in support of Senate Bill 216, hold an executive session to discuss personnel items and then take action of employment, resignations, awarding service contracts and approving a volunteer.
