ANNA — It was a packed house at the Anna Civic Association annual Halloween party. The party was held immediately after the village trick-or-trick and approximately 100 costumed children enjoyed games, crafts, snacks and a costume contest.
Cash prizes were awarded to the top 10 costumes. The winners included Tyler Barhorst, 8; Emma Echols, 3; Treighton Edwards, 10; Brezlyn Egbert, 4; Meredith Klein, 10; Derek Madden, 9; Israel McVety, 4; Maddox Rose, 6; Rylee Tewalt, 6; and Bailey Watkins, 6.
A special thanks would like to be given to the Anna FCCLA Chapter members who helped organize and run the event—community service in action.
