MONDAY

-10 p.m.: robbery. Officers responded to the report of an alleged aggravated robbery.

SUNDAY

-8:50 p.m.: warrant. Timothy R. Anderson, 48, 415 Jefferson St., was arrested on a summons from the Fire Department.

SATURDAY

-7 a.m.: drugs. Officers responded to possible drug activity at 319 E. Court St. An investigation is pending.

Crashes

Kobey Vondenhuevel, 18, 413 Charles Ave., was cited with an assured clear distance violation following a two-vehicle crash at 4:20 p.m., on Tuesday, July 31.

Vondenhuevel was traveling eastbound on Court Street when he approached a vehicle, driven by Robyn Hughes, 57, 18482 Johnston Road, which had been stopped in traffic.

Vondenhuevel did not see that Hughes was not moving and rear-ended her vehicle.

• Gary Clayton, 65, 3222 Millcreek Road, was cited with a starting and backing violation following a two-vehicle crash at 10:02 a.m., on Tuesday, July 31.

Clayton was attempting to back out of a parking space in the 100 block of North Main Street, and struck a vehicle stopped in traffic, driven by Philip Hutchinson, 79, of New Carlisle.

• Gerald Docter, 63, 1101 Fairmont Drive, was cited with an operation without reasonable control violation following a one-vehicle crash at 6:33 p.m., on Thursday, July 26.

Docter was traveling eastbound on Port Jefferson Road when he attempted to stop for a vehicle stopped in the road. Docter said his breaks malfunctioned, causing him to veer off the right side of the road, striking the curb and hitting a tree.

WEDNESDAY

-12:39 a.m. to 1:16 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to five medical calls.

-5:57 a.m.: fire alarm. Crews responded to a false fire alarm.

TUESDAY

-8:28 a.m.: to 11:22 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to six medical calls.

-6:12 p.m.: good intent call. Crews responded to a call about a disabled vehicle.

-10:09 p.m.: fire alarm. Crews responded to a false fire alarm.

-10:28 p.m.: good intent call. Crews responded to a call about a person in the river. Nothing was found.
