WEDNESDAY
-1:01 a.m.: driving under OVI suspension. Brandon L. Steele, 31, 1042 Buckeye Ave., was arrested for driving under OVI suspension.
TUESDAY
-9:05 p.m.: possession of drugs. Police are investigating a drug incident resulting in the seizure of a gel capsule as well as drug/narcotic equipment was found in a suspect’s vehicle at St. Marys Road at Ferguson Court.
-4:35 p.m.: warrant. Heather Renee Opperman, 43, of Piqua, was arrested on an active contempt warrant.
-4:20 p.m.: theft. Walmart on Michigan Street reported the past theft of merchandise in the amount of $1.
-11:26 a.m.: trafficking in drugs containing hashish. Police are investing a drug incident in which 23 THC vapes were seized from a vehicle on Interstate 75 at mile-marker 90.
-8:17 a.m.: theft. Someone was reported to have entered a black 1999 Ford and took a Longenberger wood basket, valued at $50, a pair of Serengeti sunglasses, valued at $50, and $20 in cash while parked at 431 Bowman Drive.
-7:43 a.m.: vehicle trespass. A taupe Chevrolet was reported entered during the previous night while parked at 625 Johnston Drive.
MONDAY
-8:49 p.m.: possession of drugs. Police are investigating a drug offense in which a gel capsule containing suspected heroin and a syringe was seized from a vehicle in the 900 block of South Ohio Avenue.
Crashes
Lindsey N. Jones, 25, 301 Enterprise Drive, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday at 10:05 p.m.
Jones was traveling southbound on Ohio Avenue at Court Street when she rear-ended the stopped vehicle in front of her that was waiting to turn.
The other vehicle was driven by Randy G. Brown, 56, 1192 Abbott Circle.
