THURSDAY

-1:12 a.m.: driving under the influence. Police arrested Mark A. Wita, 38, 1343 Park St., during a traffic stop at 450 Folkerth Ave. He was charged with driving under the influence, obstructing official business, resisting arrest and failure to comply with a police officer.

WEDNESDAY

-10:22 p.m.: property found. A wallet was found and given to police. It was believed to be the property of Tyler W. Hutton, of Troy.

-9:01 p.m.: drug abuse. Police found a bag of marijuana during a traffic stop at West Avenue and North Street. It was placed into evidence to be destroyed.

-5:39 p.m.: identity theft. Jeffrey Blust, 925 Port Jefferson Road, reported identity theft.

-4:35 p.m.: theft. Kathy Bird, of Milford, reported she mailed a package to 314 N. Ohio Ave. and it wasn’t received by the intended person. Loss was $20.

-3:49 p.m.: theft. Rebecca Smith, 13145 County Road 3, Quincy, reported an air-conditioning unit, valued at $500, was stolen from 716 Marilyn Drive.

-11:23 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Ariel Santos, 36, 562 Addy Ave., on a contempt warrant.

TUESDAY

-11:50 a.m.: theft. Ohio Alcohol Monitoring Systems, of Independence, reported a person did not return a monitoring bracelet, valued at $1,400.

Accidents

Samual A. Sides, 20, 17141 Sunset Drive, was cited with failure to control after an accident Wednesday at 7:56 a.m.

Sides was westbound in a pickup truck in the 100 block of East Court Street. He struck the rear of the parked pickup truck of Jeremy S. Blanford, 40, 130 Bon Drive.

• A car hit a medic vehicle of the Sidney Department of Fire & Emergency Services Wednesday at 3:49 p.m.

Jason Felker, 35, 1525 Spruce Ave., was backing from a parking space in the lot at Shelby County Job and Family Services, 227 S. Ohio Ave. His auto hit a medic unit that was parked so that a patient could be treated. There was minor damage. No one was injured.

• Tasha Bundy, 34, 1354 Logan Court, was cited with failure to control after an accident Wednesday at 8:29 p.m.

Bundy was southbound on Broadway Avenue and turned left onto Johnston Drive. She lost control of her car and hit the parked pickup truck of Stephen Wilcox, 806 Broadway Ave. A passenger in the Bundy auto, Jessie Kellerman, 15, of Wapakoneta, had possible injuries and went to Wilson Memorial Hospital.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-1:36 a.m.: false alarm. Firefighters were called to 915 Michigan St. It was a false alarm.

-1:22 a.m.: Medics responded to a call.

WEDNESDAY

-7:36 a.m. to 11:42 p.m.: Medics responded to nine calls.
