SIDNEY — A one-vehicle accident remains under investigation by the Sidney Police Department.

According to a Saturday morning release, officers responded to the area of Court Street and Wilkinson Avenue in reference to an auto accident Friday around 10:45 p.m.

After arriving on the scene, the officers located a 23-year-old male driver and a 27-year-old female passenger, both unresponsive in the vehicle. Both subjects were removed from the vehicle by Sidney Fire Department personnel and transported to Wilson Memorial Hospital. Both the driver and passenger were later transferred to Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.

As of the time of the press release, the condition of the driver and passenger was unknown.

The crash remains under investigation.
