Police log

WEDNESDAY

-9:33 a.m.: criminal damaging. A passenger door was pried open and a window trim on a black 2017 Dodge truck was reported damaged at 1201 Cinnamon Lane. The total damage is set at $600.

TUESDAY

-6:31 p.m.: burglary — purpose to commit a crime. Police responded to a request to remove someone at 1122 Westwood Drive. A police investigation is ongoing.

-3:46 p.m.: burglary — purpose to commit a crime. Police are investigating a report of a burglary at 709 Lynn St., in which $150 worth of food was reportedly stolen.

-8:21 a.m.: probation violation. Darryl Payne, 37, 1117 Hilltop Ave., Apt. C, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

SATURDAY

-1:03 p.m.: theft. Police received a report a package of mail, valued at $10, was reported stolen from outside of a front door.

Crashes

Dillon Hounshell, 26, 401 S. Highland Ave., was failure to control after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday after at 10:06 a.m.

Hounshell was traveling westbound on Culvert Street when he failed to control the vehicle and his driver’s side mirror struck the driver’s side mirror of a parked vehicle on facing the east in front of 539 Culvert St.

The parked vehicle is owned by Anthony Weber, 539 Culvert St.

• Austin James Beam, 19, 3354 Tawny Leaf Court, was cited with failure to control after a single-vehicle crash on Saturday at 4:18 a.m.

Beam was traveling northbound on Buckeye Avenue when he crashed into the fence at Humphey Park and then left the scene.

Fire, rescue

WEDNESDAY

-6:42 a.m.: service call. Firefighters conducted a service call.

4:31 to 4:44 a.m.: medical. Crews responded to two calls.

-3:20 a.m.: crash. Firefighters responded to a crash.

-3:09 a.m.: fire alarm. Firefighters responded to a false call.

TUESDAY

-5:37 to 8:15 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to three calls.
