SUNDAY

-4:54 p.m.: found property. A suspected bag of meth was reported found at Love’s Travel Stop on Fair Road.

-4:30 p.m.: breaking and entering. Police are investigating a report of a breaking and entering, which resulted in the theft of a GPS, valued at $400, an unknown amount of batteries, memory cards and cables, and an umbrella, valued at $75, at 113 N. Highland Ave., Apt. 1F.

-1:41 p.m.: burglary. Someone known was reported to have entered 509 Montose Ave.

-9:30 a.m.: theft — without consent. The theft of a butane lighter, valued at $10, and an Irwin screwdriver, valued at $6, were reported stolen at Menards on Lester Ave. The items were recovered.

SATURDAY

-7:18 p.m.: theft — without consent. Police are investigating a report of the theft of $109 at 166 W. Court St.

-3:10 p.m.: theft — deception. A scam, resulting in the theft of $8,768, was reported at 558 Bon Air Drive.

FRIDAY

-4:30 p.m.: theft. A 27-inch Genisis mountain bike, valued at $100, was reported stolen. The bike was recovered.

-4:08 p.m.: theft. An Apple iPad, valued at $100, was reported stolen.

-1:05 p.m.: theft. A Hawaii sofa blanket, valued at $81, was reported stolen at 741 Plumridge Trail.

-10:04 a.m.: littering. Police responded to the report of suspicious activity/illegal dumping at 400 Canal St. A police investigation is ongoing.

-8:17 a.m.: contempt. Bradley Michael Brooks, 22, 1140 Morris Ave., was arrested on a contempt warrant.

THURSDAY

-11:15 p.m.: robbery. Police received a report a Montgomery Ward red bicycle, valued at $100, stolen by way of force or a threat outside of the Amos Memorial Public Library on East North Street.

-9 p.m.: theft. Police are investigating a report of the theft of a 9mm Tauraus G2 firearm, valued at $250, and 12 hollow-point bullets, valued at $12, at 730 Taft St. The gun has been recovered.

Crashes

Darrell Gene Maynard, 53, 5911 State Route 29 East, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 9:56 a.m.

Maynard was traveling northbound in front of 112 N. Main St. when the vehicle in front of him, driven by Janice E. Wolfe, 69, of Houston, stopped in traffic. Maynard tried to stop but slid and rear-ended Wolfe’s vehicle, causing damage.

• Michael Gray, 65, of Arcanum, was cited with driving within lanes after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 9:05 a.m.

Gray was traveling northbound on Main Avenue in the right lane and when he attempted to change into the left lane, he failed to see and struck the northbound vehicle in the left lane on Main Avenue in the intersection of East Court Street.

The other vehicle was driven by David Jones, 48, 319 E. Pinehurst St.

• No one was cited after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday at 3:29 p.m.

Brittney N. Zerkle, 28, 333 1/2 Enterprise Ave., was operating a bicycle westbound in the crosswalk on County Road 25A when she was struck by the eastbound truck on East Water Street that was turning left to go northbound onto County Road 25A.

The truck was driven by Randall J. Magoto, 49, of Fort Loramie.

Zerkle was transported by Sidney Fire to Wilson Health.

The crash is still under investigation.

• Brianna Erin McSwain, 28, 752 Country Side Lane, Apt. 12, was cited with failure to control after a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday at 3:50 p.m.

McSwain was traveling westbound on Park Street when she side-swiped a parked vehicle facing the east in front of 1250 Park St.

The parked vehicle is owned by Christopher E. Gockley, 120 Twinbrook Place.

MONDAY

-8:49 to 11:20 a.m.: fire alarm. Crews responded to two fire alarms.

-5:37 to 6:28 a.m.: assist. Medics responded to two calls to assist an individual.

-3:48 a.m. to 12:17 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to nine calls.

SUNDAY

-5:01 p.m.: wires down. Firefighters responded to the report wires were down.

-3:43 p.m.: electrical issue. Firefighters responded to the report of an electrical issue.

-2:40 a.m. to 12:36 p.m.: fire alarm. Crews responded to three fire alarms; one was for an overheated motor.

-1:51 a.m. to 11:09 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to 11 calls.

SATURDAY

-5:11 p.m.: fire alarm. Firefighters responded to a false fire alarm.

-1:34 p.m.: crash. Crews responded to a motorcycle crash.

-11:53 a.m.: gas leak. Crews responded to a gas leak.

-9:02 a.m. to 1:17 p.m.: crash. Crews responded to two automobile crashes.

-8:39 a.m.: odor. Firefighters conducted an odor investigation.

-7:21 to 7:40 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to seven calls; one was cancelled en route.

FRIDAY

-2:45 p.m.: mutual aid. Firefighters responded to provide mutual aid on a fire call.

-2:34 to 11:05 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to five calls.
