Police log

TUESDAY

-6:34 p.m.: breaking and entering. Josh Brandon, 31, 876 Foraker Ave., reported someone broke into his shed sometime in the past week and took a weed whacker, a leaf blower, and a St. Joseph statue.

-5:08 p.m.: inducing panic. Shelby County Counseling Center reported a threat was made.

-4:53 p.m.: breaking and entering. Carl Stewart, 61, of Quincy, reported a garage at 105 N. Walnut Ave., was broken into sometime over the weekend.

-8:56 a.m.: theft. Benjamin Kirtley, 44, 1301 Timberlane Court, reported someone broke into his locked trailer and stole a chainsaw.

-8:52 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Daniel Roth, 30, 228 Brooklyn Ave., on a warrant out of Sidney Municipal Court.

MONDAY

-4:10 p.m.: possession of drugs. Police located suspected heroin and syringe during a traffic stop on South Miami Avenue at South Street.

-9:32 a.m.: misuse of credit card. Ralph Fuller, 57, of Cincinnati, reported someone used his credit card number several times without his knowledge.

Accidents

Parker Riley, 17, 1271 Maple Leaf Court, was cited for right of way turning left after an accident on Tuesday at 7:29 a.m.

Riley was traveling northeast on Fair Road and attempted a left turn onto Campbell Road when it struck a vehicle traveling southwest on Fair Road at Campbell Road.

The driver of the other vehicle was Emily Scheu, 37 8221 Port Haven Drive,

• Deanna Browning, 40, 981 N. Wagner St., was cited for assured clear distance and having fictitious plates after an accident on Monday at 7:40 a.m.

Browning was traveling southeast on St. Mary Road at Commerce Drive when she struck a vehicle traveling in front of her. She then struck that vehicle a second time when it slammed on it’s breaks. The plates on Browning’s vehicle were from a different vehicle she owned.

The driver of the other vehicle was Troy Erickson, 44, 228 Maple St.
