TUESDAY

-1:20 p.m.: property damage crash. A crash was reported at Hardin Wapakoneta Road and state Route 29.

-12:36 p.m.: scam. A scam was reported in the 3000 block of Cisco Road in Sidney.

MONDAY

-4:02 to 11:37 p.m.: trespassing. An adult was arrested after a report of a trespassing was investigated in the 300 block of East North Street in Sidney.

-1:08 p.m.: theft. A theft was reported in the 12800 block of Luthman Road in Minster.

-9:10 a.m.: theft. A theft was reported at in the 13200 block of Luthman Road in Minster.

7:27 a.m.: theft. A theft was reported in the 13000 block of Luthman Road in Minster.

MONDAY

-11:37 p.m.: domestic violence. A domestic violence report was investigated.

Crashes

Trevonn Kaddian Smith, 31, of Sidney, was cited with failure to control after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday at 7:40 a.m.

Smith was traveling eastbound on a private driveway on state Route 29 when he lost control of his vehicle in the snow and ice, entered the roadway and slid into the side of the northwest passing vehicle, driven by Cindy Marie Brown, 64, of Minster. After the collision, Smith’s vehicle slid off the road and into a ditch on the west side of state Route 29. Brown’s vehicle slid to a halt in the snow a short distance away.

The black 2011 Jeep Smith was driving was towed from the scene by Brian’s Towing.

• Madesan Kaylynn Beckstedt, 19, of Piqua, was cited with failure to control after a single-vehicle crash on Feb. 17 at 11:25 p.m.

Beckstedt was traveling northbound on County Road 25A when she swerved to miss a deer and went off the west side of the road, traveled through a ditch and hit a DP&L utility pole.

Beckstedt’s maroon 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe was towed from the scene by Mantor Towing.

She was transported by Sidney Fire to Wilson Health.

• No one was cited after a single-vehicle crash on Feb. 15 at 12:33 p.m.

Richard Andrew Hicks, 21, of Bradford, was traveling southbound on Fair Road when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, went across the center line and the roadway to the left, and then hit a tree off the side of the road.

Hicks’ black 2005 Cadillac was towed from the scene by Rose Towing.

Fire, rescue  

TUESDAY

-3:03 a.m. to 1:42 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to six calls.

-9:24 a.m.: vehicle fire. A vehicle fire was reported in the 16500 block of Miami Shelby Road.

-8:38 a.m.: fire alarm. A fire alarm was reported in the 13800 block of Botkins Road in Botkins.

MONDAY

-5:04 to 6:12 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to two calls.
