-11 p.m.: summons. Kathy Jo Ortiz, 58, of Sidney, received a summons to appear in court for domestic violence.

-11 p.m.: crime in progress. Dennis Ortiz, 61, of Sidney, was arrested for domestic violence.

-9:50 p.m.: burglary. Police responded to a burglary in progress in the 300 block of East Court Street.

-8:17 p.m.: suspicious subject or vehicle. Police responded to a suspicious subject or vehicle in the 1000 block of Shroyer Place.

-8 p.m.: summons. Jeffrey W. Woodard, 58, of Sidney, received a summons to appear in court for driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

-6:39 p.m.: damage. Police responded to past damage in the 800 block of South Miami Avenue.

-6:21 p.m.: suspicious subject or vehicle. Police responded to a suspicious subject or vehicle in the 1000 block of Park Street.

-12:36 p.m.: theft. Police responded to a past theft in the 400 block of East Court Street.

-1:18 a.m.: warrant. Jeremy Lee Jones, 32, of Sidney, was arrested on a warrant.

-8:38 p.m.: suspicious subject or vehicle. Police responded to a suspicious subject or vehicle in the 2000 block of Wapakoneta Avenue.

-8:11 p.m.: threats. Police responded to threats in the 500 block of South Main Avenue.

-6:25 p.m.: breaking and entering. Police responded to a breaking and entering in progress in the 200 block of Forest Street.

-3:58 p.m.: theft. Police responded to a past theft in the 300 block of Jefferson Street.

-2:50 p.m.: suspicious subject or vehicle. Police responded to a suspicious subject or vehicle in the 2000 block of Michigan Street.

FRIDAY

-9:17 p.m.: intoxicated driver. Police responded to an intoxicated driver in the 2000 block of Michigan Street.

-9:10 p.m.: theft. Police responded to a past theft in the 600 block of Fourth Avenue.

-3:58 p.m.: trespassing. Police removed someone in the 300 block of Lake Street.

-3 p.m.: crime in progress. Tariq Floyd Esom Hassan Vining, 25, of Sidney, was arrested for obstructing official business and trespassing.

-2:25 p.m.: vandalism. Police responded to vandalism in the 300 block of North West Avenue.

-9:26 a.m.: suspicious subject or vehicle. Police responded to a suspicious subject or vehicle in the 2000 block of Michigan Street.

Crashes

Jeffery Woodard, 58, of Sidney, was cited with driving while under the influence of alcohol after a vehicle and pedestrian crash on Sunday at 7:32 p.m.

Woodard was traveling northbound on Wapakoneta Avenue when Robin Abney, 58, of Sidney, walked in front of Woodard’s car, causing Woodard to strike Abney.

• Myra Joan Jordan, 89, of Sidney, was cited with right of way at a private driveway after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 11:30 a.m.

Lukas Charles Dye, 20, of Sidney, was traveling southbound on North Vandemark Road when Jordan failed to yield to oncoming traffic, pulled out of a driveway, and struck Dye’s car on the driver’s side.

• Shelby Lynn McVety, 16, of Maplewood, was cited with operating a vehicle without reasonable control after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 7:20 a.m.

McVety was traveling westbound on Campbell Road when she struck a parked car owned by Patrick L. Higgs, of Sidney.

• Savannah M. Cox, 29, of Sidney, was cited with right of way when turning left after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 5:55 a.m.

Cox was traveling westbound on Michigan Street and Steven E. Brenneman, 29, of Sidney, was traveling eastbound on Michigan Street. Cox turned left in front of Brenneman, causing Brenneman to strike Cox.
