WEDNESDAY

-11:09 a.m.: suspicious person. Personnel responded to a suspicious person in the 700 block of North West Avenue.

-8:55 a.m.: theft. Deputies responded to a theft in the 2000 block of Redmond Road in Russia.

-8:24 to 8:28 a.m.: drugs. Deputies responded to three drug offenses in the 1000 block of Campbell Road.

Jan. 6

-11:36 p.m.: crime in progress. Michael Yeboah, 35, of Louisville, Kentucky, was arrested for trespassing.

Dec. 28

-4:10 p.m.: crime in progress. Regina L. Smith, 47, at large, was cited with driving under suspension from prior driving under the influence and operating a vehicle while impaired.

WEDNESDAY

-2:24 p.m.: suspicious vehicle. Fort Loramie Police responded to a suspicious vehicle in the 11000 block of state Route 362 in Minster.

Crashes

No one was cited after a two-vehicle crash on Jan. 3 at 4:23 p.m.

Emily Leeann Werling, 18, of Sidney, was traveling northeast bound on Riverside Drive. Sydney Irene Rose Pavlik, 25, of Sidney, was stopped on Riverside Drive waiting for traffic so she could turn left onto Port Jefferson Road. Werling rear-ended Pavlik and said that she didn’t see Pavlik stopped.

• James Stephen Larger, 17, of Piqua, and Aubri Marie Karn, 17. of Piqua, were cited with assured clear distance after a three-vehicle crash on Jan. 3 at 7:54 a.m.

All vehicles were traveling northbound on Interstate 75 and exiting onto exit 93 when traffic slowed quickly for a semi-truck pulling into the roadway from the shoulder. Amanda Gayle Harris, 41, of Troy, was rear-ended by Karn, and Karn was rear-ended by Larger, causing Karn to rear-end Harris a second time. Karn’s vehicle was towed by Wrecker’s Towing.

• Caitie J. Earls, 33, of Sidney, was cited with assured clear distance after a two-vehicle crash on Jan. 3 at 7:25 a.m.

Chelsea S. Terry, 31, of Sidney, was traveling northbound on County Road 25A attempting to make a left turn to the on-ramp of Interstate 75 southbound when Earls rear-ended her.

• Robert M. Tuttle, 29, of Jackson Center, was cited with failure to control after a one-vehicle crash on Dec. 31 at 7:51 p.m.

Tuttle was traveling northbound on Lochard Road when a deer entered the roadway. He swerved to miss it and ran off the road, striking a mailbox, fence, ditch and embankment.

WEDNESDAY

-11:45 a.m. to 1:40 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to two calls.

TUESDAY

-11:07 to 11:37 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to three calls.
