-1:48 p.m.: crash. Police responded to a crash with injuries in the 1000 block of Wapakoneta Avenue.

-9:38 a.m.: crime in progress. Cayden James Eugene Nelson, 20, of Sidney, was arrested for aggravated menacing.

Crashes

Seth J. Thornton, 25, of Sidney, was cited with assured clear distance after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 1:48 p.m.

Jessica N. Hance, 37, of Sidney, was traveling southbound on state Route 29 and stopped at a traffic light. Thornton was behind Hance when he failed to stop, rear-ending her. Hance had possible injuries but was not evaluated by EMS personnel, and Thornton’s vehicle was towed by Mantor’s Towing.

• Mark E. Bollheimer, 63, of New Bremen, was cited with right of way at a private driveway after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 2:35 p.m.

Brandon N. Graham, 22, of Sidney, was traveling westbound on state Route 29 when Bollheimer pulled out of a driveway from East Court Street onto state Route 29 and into the path of Graham, causing a collision.

• Gloria Cotton, 59, of Sidney, was cited with disobedience to traffic control devices after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 7:16 a.m.

Cotton was facing southbound in a left turn lane on Fourth Avenue and Patricia J. Bubp, 55, of Sidney, was traveling northbound on Fourth Avenue. Cotton turned left into the path of Bubp causing a collision. There was a sign at the intersection prohibiting left turns during the time of day the crash occurred.

Cotton was evaluated by Sidney EMS for suspected minor injuries and her passenger was taken to Wilson Health by Sidney EMS with suspected minor injuries. Bubp’s passenger was taken to Wilson Health by Sidney EMS with possible injuries. Bubp’s vehicle was towed by Mantor’s Towing and Cotton’s vehicle was towed by Elmer’s Towing.
