Crashes

Brenda Karpinski, 78, of Piqua, was cited with assured clear distance after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday at 2:40 p.m.

Carly Pike, 19, of Sidney, was stopped at a stoplight at the intersection of East Main Street and North Main Avenue and Karpinski rear-ended her. Karpinski’s vehicle was towed by Elmer’s Towing.

• Kaleb Sparks, 21, of Sidney, was cited with failure to control/weaving after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 8:15 p.m.

Sparks was traveling northbound on McKinley Avenue when he sideswiped a parked car owned by Matthew Carr, of Sidney.

• Nathaniel J. Vacca, 29, of Sidney, was cited with right of way at intersections after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 7:11 p.m.

Vacca was stopped at the stop sign on Hampton Court at the intersection of Fair Road. Colette K. Lewis, 55, of Sidney, was traveling eastbound on Fair Road. Vacca proceeded southbound across Fair Road and struck Lewis.

• Travis Richard Hicks, 40, of Anna, was cited with right of way when turning left after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 1:41 p.m.

Hicks was traveling southeast on Riverside Drive and Ann M. Langenkamp, 29, of Maplewood, was traveling northeast on Riverside Drive. Hicks attempted to make a left turn onto Tawawa Drive and pulled in front of Langenkamp, causing a collision. Hicks’s vehicle was towed by Wrecker’s Towing.

• Barbara Miu-Miller, 77, of Sidney, was cited with turning at intersections after a two-vehicle crash on Feb. 6 at 2:39 p.m.

Miu-Miller was traveling southbound on South Ohio Avenue and Noah Scott Reineke, 22, of Sidney, was traveling in the same direction in the opposite lane. Miu-Miller attempted to make a left-hand turn onto West Water Street and struck Reineke. Miu-Miller’s vehicle was towed by Mantor’s Towing.
