Police log

WEDNESDAY

-4:42 p.m.: theft. David Welch, 60, 515 Culvert St., reported someone obtained his bank card and stole $700 from his account.

-3:45 p.m.: theft. Frances Carpenter, 43, 402 N. Miami Ave., Apt B1, reported a metal fan, loose tobacco and tubes were taken from his apartment.

-2:32 p.m.: theft. Dylon Fair, 28, 213 Franklin Ave., reported two 10-speed bikes were stolen from his front porch.

-1:18 p.m.: theft. Melissa Lozano, 40, 1119 Evergreen Drive, reported a girl’s Schwinn bike was stolen from her driveway.

-12:13 p.m.: found property. An expired motorcycle license plate was found in the 900 block of South Main Avenue and was turned into the police department.

Accidents

Hunter Cisco, 15, 1317 Hancock St., was taken to Wilson Health by Sidney Fire after an accident on Monday at 8:08 a.m.

Cisco was traveling northbound on his bicycle on Fourth Avenue and had just entered the intersection crossing state Route 47 on a yellow light. As the light turned green the stopped vehicle, driven by Kimberly Grewe, 50, of Anna, proceeded forward and hit Cisco causing damage and minor injuries.

Police said it was cloudy and raining at the time, and after conferring with Prosecutor Jeffrey Amick, it was decided that Cisco was most at fault, but no citations will be issued due to his age and the circumstances.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-8:29 a.m.: medical. Crews were dispatched on the report of a motor vehicle accident.

-7:53 a.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on a call.

-6:45 a.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to 618 Ardiss Place on a carbon monoxide investigation. Nothing was found.

WEDNESDAY

-5:53 p.m.: fire. Crews were dispatched to 1959 Michigan St. on a general fire alarm. The alarm had a malfunction.

-2:01 p.m.: fire. Crews were dispatched to 1959 Michigan St. on a general fire alarm. The alarm had a malfunction.

-12:01 to 7:56 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on four calls.
