MONDAY

-5:34 p.m.: theft. Philip Kocher, 66, Quincy, reported of the theft of his black briefcase containing a $100 bill and miscellaneous documents that he had left inside of McDonald’s on Michigan Street.

-3:54 p.m.: warrant. Lisa Six, 26, 510 N. Main Ave., Apt. C, was arrested on an active warrant.

-2:30 p.m.: theft. Dawn Herrick, 45, 9275 Pasco Montra Road, reported the theft of $300 in cash and various gift cards, a wallet, two wrapped Christmas presents valued at $30, and paperwork for an animal from her vehicle at Sidney-Shelby County YMCA on East Parkwood Street.

-12:59 p.m.: criminal simulation. McDonald’s on Michigan Street reported a customer attempted to pay for their order with a counterfeit $20 bill.

-11:12 a.m.: theft. Curtis Turpin, 36, Freemont, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

SUNDAY

-4:48 p.m.: lost property. Ulysee Robinson Jr., 51, 329 Maple St., reported he lost $130 in cash near the China Garden on Michigan Avenue.

-3:47 p.m.: theft. Police are investigating the report made by Walmart on Michigan Street of the theft of three PlayStation 4 controllers.

-1:47 p.m.: breaking and entering. Kim Jordan, 60, 1496 E. Ridge Blvd., reported someone pried open her shed and took her Toro lawn mower.

-12:04 p.m.: theft. Travis Murphy, 32, 327 Michigan Street, reported someone entered his unlocked vehicle and took his Oakley sunglasses, a pair of leather work gloves, a pack and a half of cigarettes and his air freshener.

SATURDAY

-9:56 p.m: theft. Police are investigating the report made by Aaron Allenbaugh, 26, 420 E. Court St., of the attempted theft of his vehicle from the Elks Lodge on South Main Avenue.

-6:03 p.m.: criminal damaging. Elizabeth Fergus, 60, 216 Pike St., reported the back window of her vehicle was damaged.

-5:46 p.m.: driving under the influence. Joseph Hudgins, 62, 951 N. Buckeye Ave., was arrested for OVI and cited with right of way at private drive.

-2:52 p.m.: burglary. Larry Keysor, 25, 320 Thompson St., reported the burglary of a PlayStation 4 game console, two Playstation controllers and five Playstation video games from his residence.

-6:43 a.m.: identity theft. Dwayne Hensel, 37, 818 Wapakoneta Ave., Apt. 4, reported someone he knows used his identity and stole $1,700.

FRIDAY

-9:24 p.m.: drug abuse. Zachary Hatke, 19, Piqua, was arrested for drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.

-2:31 p.m.: criminal simulation. Burger King on Michigan Street reported a customer placed an order and attempted to pay with a counterfeit bill, and when it was noticed the suspect drove away.

THURSDAY

-8:27 a.m.: criminal damaging. St. John’s Church on West Water Street reported someone spray painted a church sign.

-7:42 a.m.: theft. Kristina Higlefort, 24, 721 S. Miami Ave., reported someone took her work Nokia cellphone and two packs of gum from her vehicle.

Dec. 7

-11:15 p.m.: burglary. Police investigated the report of a possible burglary of five methadone bottles made by Jessica Nafzger, 36, 711 Lynn St.

Crashes

Nikolas Soder, 25, 108 W. Lyndhurst St., was cited with right of way drive or alley on Monday at 6:32 p.m.

Soder was in the driveway near 221 N. Vandemark Road facing the east and then struck another vehicle traveling southbound on North Vandemark Road in the right rear when he pulled forward in an attempt to see traffic.

The driver of the other vehicle was Bradley Richards, 26, 7450 Wright-Moyer Road.

• Joseph Hereford, 38, of Troy, was cited with improper lane change after a two-vehicle collision on Friday at 10:35 a.m.

Hereford was traveling westbound in the 1500 block of Michigan Street in the left lane and attempting to change into the right lane, he struck the westbound vehicle in the right lane driven by Marlene Johnson, 71, 1284 Turner Drive.

• Larry Knouff, 69, of Kettering, was cited for failure to control after a collision Friday at 9:29 a.m.

Knouff was westbound near 2304 Fair Road when he drifted off the road to the north and struck a DP&L pole.

• Michael Wooddell, 66, 424 E. Ruth St., was cited with right of way turning left after a two-vehicle collision on Thursday at 10:58 a.m.

Wooddell was traveling westbound on East Russell Road when he attempted to make a left hand turn at the intersection of County Road 25A and pulled in front of the eastbound vehicle on East Russell Road driven by Vicki Smith, 55, of Port Jefferson.

Smith was transported by Sidney Fire Department to Wilson Health.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-12:24 p.m.: fire. Firefighters responded to a carbon monoxide investigation.

-6:33 a.m.: fire. Firefighters responded to 1630 Ferguson Court for a fire that was contained and extinguished prior to arrival.

-2:09 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to nine calls. One was cancelled en route.

-1:46 a.m.: rescue. Firefighters responded to 606 Maxwell Place for an animal rescue.

MONDAY

-9:44 p.m.: assist. Firefighters were dispatched to 4091 Hardin Wapak for the mutual aid of Lockington Fire Department.

-7:45 p.m.: fire. Firefighters responded to 320 N. Miami Ave. for a fire investigation.

-6:31 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to six calls.

SUNDAY

-12:16 a.m. to 8:46 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to three automobile crashes.

-12:18 p.m.: fire. Firefighters responded for a carbon monoxide investigation.

-12:51 to 11:42 a.m.: fire. Crews responded to two fire alarms.

-3:33 a.m. to 11:21 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to 15 calls.

-3:16 a.m. to 8:05 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to three calls.

-10:32 a.m.: fire. Firefighters responded to a carbon monoxide investigation.

-12:15 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to Interstate 75 for an automobile crash.

-10:52 a.m.: spill. Crews responded to 1250 Wapakoneta Ave. on the report of a gasoline spill.
