Sheriff’s log

SUNDAY

-10:48 a.m.: theft. Items were stolen from a shed at 12012 State Route 362.

-10:11 a.m.: vandalism. Tires on a vehicle were slashed at 377 Towpath Trail, Lockington.

-12:57 a.m.: vehicle hit by train. A train hit a vehicle in the 100 block of Lynn Street, Russia. Russia Fire, Houston Rescue and deputies responded. A sheriff’s dispatcher said the vehicle was unoccupied and no one was injured. No other information about the incident was available before press time.

SATURDAY

-7:46 a.m.: vandalism. A mailbox at 8350 Stoker Road was hit.

FRIDAY

-5:49 p.m.: theft. Theft of money was reported at 404 Millette Ave., Anna.

-5:18 p.m.: burglary. A window was broken in the 6000 block of Palestine Street, Pemberton.

-2:21 a.m.: property-damage accident. A vehicle hit a couple of light poles at 220 N. Main St., Fort Loramie.

-1:49 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue was called to the 600 block of East College Street, Jackson Center.

-9:33 p.m.: injury. Houston Rescue was called to the 4000 block of Hardin-Wapakoneta Road.

-7:23 p.m.: medical. Fort Loramie Rescue was called to the 10000 block of Cisco Road.

-6:42 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue was called to the 400 block of West Walnut Street, Anna.

-11:23 a.m.: medical. Houston Rescue was called to the 10000 block of Mohawk Court.

-11:07 a.m.: possible gas leak. Lockington Fire was called to 3080 Kuther Road to check on a possible gas leak.

-10:57 a.m.: injury. Perry-Port-Salem Rescue was called to the 100 block of East Wall Street, Port Jefferson.

-10:43 a.m.: dryer fire. Lockington Fire was called to a dryer fire in the garage at 2625 W. Landman Mill Road in Miami County.

-8:21 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue was called to the 400 block of West Pike Street, Jackson Center.

-12:47 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue was called to the 10000 block of Pasco-Montra Road.

FRIDAY

-8:15 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue was called to the 10000 block of the Dixie Highway in Auglaize County.

-7:39 p.m.: trash fire. Jackson Center Fire was called to a trash fire behind the building at 108 Redbud Circle, Jackson Center.

-7:06 p.m.: mutual aid. Perry-Port-Salem Rescue was called to the intersection of Jefferson and Carlisle streets in Quincy to provide mutual aid at car accident.

-4 p.m.: alarm. Botkins Fire was called to the Botkins Sports Complex by a fire alarm.
