BELLEFONTAINE — A Sidney couple are slated to appear in Bellefontaine Municipal Court this week after they were arrested Friday, June 30.
The Logan County Joint Drug Task Force arrested Megan R. Caskey, 26, and Jeremy Couchot, 34, both of Sidney, following a traffic stop in Bellefontaine.
Couchot is charged with complicity. He is scheduled to appear in Bellefontaine Municipal Court Monday, July 3, at 10:30 a.m.
Caskey is charged with possession of drugs, obstructing official business and falsification. She is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday, July 5, at 10:30 a.m.
The pair allegedly had a significant amount of powdered heroin and/or fentanyl in their possession. They were stopped on West Sandusky Avenue near Troy Road Friday with the assistance of Bellefontaine Police Department officers.
The alleged drugs were found after the vehicle was searched. Tests are being conducted to determine what type of drugs the pair had in their possession.
Both are incarcerated in the Logan County Jail.
Logan County Children’s Service took custody of two children in the vehicle.
