WEDNESDAY

-12:48 a.m.: theft. Melvin Brown, at large, reported clothing, valued at $100, and $50 in coins were stolen from 609 S. Ohio Ave.

TUESDAY

-8:37 p.m.: criminal damaging. Louise Larry, 309 S. Main Ave., reported her car door was damaged at her residence. Loss was $100.

-6:47 p.m.: domestic violence and aggravated menacing. Police arrested Collin Sharp, 25, 215 Franklin Ave., on charges of domestic violence and aggravated menacing and Nathan Sharp, 31, 215 Franklin Ave., on a charge of domestic violence.

-5:04 p.m.: contempt. Police arrested Justin Perry, 31, of Piqua, on contempt warrants.

-2:38 p.m.: theft. Denise Bristow, 1001 N. Main Ave., reported her cell phone, valued at $300, was stolen from her coat while she was at work at Sapa Extrusions, 401 N. Stolle Ave.

-11:48 a.m.: theft. Personnel at Food Mart, 1206 Michigan St., reported someone stole pipe tobacco, valued at $6.49, from the store.

MONDAY

-2:29 p.m.: misuse of credit card. Donna Callihan, of Oxford, reported someone used her credit card numbers for a $150 purchase at Walmart.

Accident

Jason L. Chester, 40, 651 Ann Place, was cited with assured clear distance after an accident Tuesday at 3:19 p.m.

Chester was southbound on Fourth Avenue and hit in the rear an auto that was stopped southbound to turn into Countryside Lane. The driver of the other vehicle was Larry A. Scherger, 57, 706 N. Main Ave. A passenger in the Scherger vehicle, Wilda E. Reddy, 63, 706 N. Main Ave., had possible injuries. The Sidney Department of Fire & Emergency Services took her to Wilson Memorial Hospital.

Fire, rescue

WEDNESDAY

-3:06 a.m. to 1:01 p.m.: Medics responded to six calls.

-9:46 a.m.: fire. Firefighters were called to the 300 block of North West Avenue on a report of smoke. The smoke was coming from a chimney.

TUESDAY

-8:07 a.m. to 10:45 p.m.: Medics responded to 11 calls.
