To the editor:

I first heard Matt Huffman about a year ago when he was in Sidney, explaining the need for a constitutional amendment requiring a federal balanced budget. Matt clearly explained the process and strongly advocated implementation of a constitutional amendment to control federal spending.

Since then I have continued to get to know Matt and have discussed his approach to government. Matt desires to work collaboratively to seek solutions to difficult problems. Often this work is done behind the scenes, without accolades and often unnoticed. Matt is effective in these situations.

Please join me in voting for Matt Huffman, a state senator who will be fiscally responsible while looking out for the best interests of Shelby County.
