To the editor:

Veterans and citizens of Shelby County, I’m asking for your help in asking the Veteran Service Office of Shelby Co. to write, email to the Veteran Organization for their help in sending a message to the President of the United States to resign for the botched withdrawal of Afghanistan for the 13 American soldiers who died for our country.

I wish no one to have a member of the different branches of service come knocking on your door telling you a son or daughter was killed. It has to feel like a shot in the gut.

So I’m asking as many people as possible to come to Veteran Service Office on Sept. 14, 2021, at 9 a.m. The office is located across from The Spot Restaurant, Sidney, Ohio.
