LAFAYETTE — Despite a 31-point game from Deion Hoehne, the New Bremen Cardinals lost their opening game on the road Friday, 67-63 to Allen East in non-league boys basketball action.
The Cardinals bolgted to a 19-7 lead after one wuarter, but were outscored 38-28 in the middle two periods, and by six in the final quarter.
In addition to Booher, Kaelen Reed added 18 points.
