Sidney pitchers were roughed up for 12 hits in a 13-2 loss to Chaminade-Julienne in non-league baseball action Tuesday afternoon at the high school.
The verdict left the Jackets at 1-3 on the season.
Chaminade scored twice in the first and three times in the second, but it was just a 6-2 score after five innings. However, the Eagles plated five in the sixth and two in the seventh to make it lopsided.
The Yellow Jackets managed just three hits off Chaminade pitcher Mark Barhorst, who went the distance, with three strikeouts.
Conor Beer had a double for Sidney.
The Jackets return to action Monday at home against Vandalia.
