Three Midwest Athletic Conference teams are ranked in the top 10 in their divisions, and two of them are No. 1-ranked in the Association Press high school football state poll.
Minster, the defending state champion in Division 6, has dropped down to D-7 this season and is ranked fourth in the first AP poll, released this week.
Marion Local, the state champion in D-7 last year, has moved up to D-6 and is the No.1-ranked team in Ohio. And Coldwater, the state champion in D-5 last season, tops that division in the first state poll.
Another MAC team, Versailles, is ranked 18th in D-5, and Fort Recovery, also in the MAC, is ranked sixth in D-7.
