Botkins stays unbeatenin conference soccer

BOTKINS — Botkins posted a 2-0 victory over Spencerville in boys soccer action at Botkins Community Park Thursday.

The win kept the Trojans undefeated in the Western Ohio Soccer League at 4-0-0 and put them at 6-5 overall.

Scoring for the Trojans were Kaleb Hanby and Trent Egbert. Tanner Russell added an assist.

Botkins outshot the Bearcats 18-3 and had a 10-0 advantage in corner kicks.

The Trojans return to action Monday at Miami Valley.

JC falls 4-1

BELLEFONTAINE — Jackson Center traveled to Bellefontaine to face Calvary Christian Thursday and lost 4-1.

The Tigers, now 3-6-1, got a goal from Gavin Booser. Goalie Trevor Elliott had 11 saves.
