The New Bremen Lady Cardinals were voted the No. 1 seed for the upcoming Van Wert Division 4 District Volleyball Tournament.

The Lady Cardinals are 13-8 on the season and have a first-round bye before playing the Wayne Trace (10-8)-Lima Perry (8-10) winner on Oct. 22.

Marion Local (12-7) is the No. 2 seed, New Knoxville (12-8) No. 3 and Delphos St. John’s No. 4. Minster (11-8) was voted the No. 5 seed and will host 1-19 Spencerville in first-round action Oct. 20.

New Knoxville also has a first-round bye and plays with Convoy Crestview (9-9) or Lincolnview (4-15).
