FORT LORAMIE — Fort Loramie Police are seeking help to find the man caught on camera stealing a delivered package from the front porch of a Fort Loramie residence on Wednesday, Nov. 14, around 2:30 p.m.

According to Fort Loramie Police Chief Nathan Brown, the suspect appears to be a black male in his early 20s, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, thin build, with black hair that is short on the sides and longer on top and a black mustache. He is believed to be driving a darker colored Saturn Vue.

The man is also wanted in connection with fraudulent credit card activity and other charges, said Brown.

On Monday, Nov. 12, over $700 worth of Boost Mobile phones were fraudulently purchased with a Fort Loramie resident’s credit card. The next day on Nov. 13, the resident was notified the phones would be delivered to their home on Wednesday, Nov. 14.

The package was delivered to the home around noon on Wednesday. Then around 2:30 p.m., the suspect went to the Fort Loramie home, while the residents were not home, and took the package.

The Fort Loramie Police Department is working closely with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office to solve this case as quickly as possible, Brown said.

Anyone with information about this situation or the identity of the suspect are asked to call the Fort Loramie Police Department at 937-295-4042 or the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office at 937-498-1111.
