Anna School Board

ANNA — The Anna Local School Board will meet in regular session at 6:30 p.m., Sept. 11, in room 209 in the Middle School. They are expected to discuss opening day enrollment, next year’s appropriations and review the audit.

Sidney City Council

SIDNEY — The Sidney City Council will meet on Monday, Sept. 11, at 6:30 p.m in the Municipal Building’s Council Chambers.

There will be discussions on the ownership transfer of a C1 liquor permit to DB Petroleum, Inc., located at 1301 Wapakoneta Ave., and on further deliberations on the city’s 5-year financial plan.

Council is expected to adopt two ordinances levy special assessments for construction and replacement of certain curbs and gutters in the city and to assess the cost of weed cutting and or removal of litter or junk.

It is expected for council to adopt five resolutions, and they are:

• To authorize the submittal of proposals with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) for grants through the Department of Transportation and to execute the contract upon proposal acceptance;

• To authorize the city manager to enter into a contract with ODOT for the elderly and disabled fare assitance program;

• To accept the amounts and rates as determinded by the budget commission and authorize the necessary tax levies, and to certify them to the county auditor;

• To authorize the city manager to enter into two separate income tax sharing agreements with the Sidney City Board of Education regarding an enterprise zone tax abatement for Fresh Unlimited, Inc., DBA Freshway Foods and with Perfection Bakeries, Inc.

Loramie Township trustees

RUSSIA — The Loramie Township trustees will meet in regular session at 7:30 p.m., Sept. 12, in the Russia Fire House.

All meetings are open to the public.

Fairlawn School Board

SIDNEY — The Fairlawn Local School District Board of Education will meet in regular session, at 6:30 p.m., Sept. 14, in Room 122 of the school.

The board will consider board policies, a change of 2018 graduation date, bus routes, employment and service contracts and a resignation.
