TOLEDO — Zachary T. Holtzapple was recognized April 27 with the Inorganic Chemistry Award at the University of Toledo’s Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry 2016 Honors Ceremony.

This award is for outstanding performance in inorganic chemistry. Later that evening he was inducted into the Omega Chi Epsilon, the National Honor Society of Chemical Engineers.

On May 12, Holtzapple was one of three students from the university to receive the Frank E. Horton Presidents Club Scholarship during the Annual Donor Recognition Reception. He continues to be on the President’s List maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

Holtzapple is majoring in chemical engineering. He is a 2013 graduate of Wapakoneta High School.
