Bluffton awards degrees

BLUFFTON — The achievements of more than 230 undergraduate and graduate students were celebrated, May 7, during the 117th commencement ceremony at Bluffton University.

Local students who received their degrees are Michele Barga, who earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational management; Michael Martin and Beth Prueter, who earned bachelor’s degrees in social work; and Glory George, who earned a Master of Business Administration, all from Sidney; Gerald Elchert, who earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and received the Distinguished Scholar Award; Emma Regula, who earned a bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition with a minor in public health; and Brianne Wildermuth, who earned a bachelor’s degree in social work, all from Jackson Center; and Matthew Hiatt, of Houston, who earned a Master of Business Administration.
