Sidney City Schools BOE

SIDNEY — The Sidney City Schools Board of Education will hold a special meeting Monday, June 8, at 6 p.m. at the board office. The meeting will be held in executive session to consider employment of an employee for the school district.

Sidney City Council

SIDNEY — Sidney City Council will meet Monday, June 8, at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers.

Council will consider adoption of ordinances regarding Shelby Public Transit rates and vacation of a portion of the Wapakoneta Avenue right of way.

Council will introduce ordinances that would make supplemental appropriations, name a softball field as Jerry Knoop Diamond, and authorize electric and natural gas aggregation programs.

Council will consider a resolution to place the Helman farm in an agricultural district and will discuss responsibility for curb repair.

In an executive session, council will discuss preparing for negotiations or bargaining sessions with public employees, the purchase of property, and pending or imminent court action.

Fort Loramie Village Council

FORT LORAMIE — The Fort Loramie Village Council will meet in regular session, Monday, June 8, at 8 p.m. in the village hall.

Council will consider ordinances concerning door-to-door solicitations, opt-out electric and gas service programs and the National Flood Insurance Program, consumption of beer in the park during Liberty Days and the alumni softball tournament.

Council will consider the prohibition of tree-planting in curb lawns and approval of the woodland Estates subdivision final plat.

The Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services

TROY — The Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services will convene a special meeting Tuesday, June 9, at 6 p.m. in the Marianne Helmlinger Board Room, 1100 Wayne St., Suite 4000, Troy, to hear a presentation by Russ Hodge. No action is expected to be taken. The board will conduct business at its regularly scheduled meeting June 17 at 6:45 p.m.

Anna Village Council

ANNA — Anna Village Council will meet Tuesday, June 9, at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall.

Council will hear the third reading of an ordinance amending the Human Resource Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual pertaining to compensation time and changing it to flexible time. Various village officials also are expected to give reports.

Fairlawn Schools BOE

SIDNEY — The Fairlawn Local School District’s Board of Education will meet Thursday, June 11, at 6:30 p.m. in Room 122 at the school.

Items on the agenda include discussions about the Washington, D.C., fundraisers and weighted grades. The board is also expected to accept donations, approve a service contract and a volunteer for the district.
