Gabriel Lundin, left, 7, of Sidney, son of Deborah and Matt Lundin, has his thoughts listened to by math magician Paul Adams, of Mason, Saturday, June 6. Lundin performed his Super Hero Magic Show at Amos Memorial Public Library’s Family Fun Day. The event had a super hero theme. Event workers walked around dressed as super heroes as kids ate free food and played games. The event also brings attention to the start of the Shelby County Libraries summer reading program.

Sidney High School head football coach, Adam Doenges, leads a group of 5th-8th graders Tuesday, June 9, at Yellow Jacket football Camp in Sidney Memorial Stadium. The campers were lead through various drills and games by the coaching staff along with current and former players.

The Sidney market held Taste of the Market where visitors took a passport book around to different booths where they sampled items. When the passport book was filled they could return it for a chance to win $25.

Laura Campbell, 15, of St. Paris, daughter of Christina and David Campbell, received her senior Girl Scout awards at the Girl Scout bridging and bronze award ceremony for Troops 20319 and 20690 at Tawawa Park Sunday, June 7. Campbell’s major award was for community service where she helped younger Girl Scouts.
