ANNA — The Anna Livestock 4-H club has had an active spring schedule with election of officers at the February meeting.

The new president is Carter Huelskamp. The new vice president is Emma Freytag. The secretary is Macey Huelskamp and the treasurer went to Kelsey Meyer. News reporter went to Michaela Ambos. Meredith Klein and Leah Meyer will serve as the Health and Safety committee, and recreation will be done by Amber Zimpfer.

In March, the meeting was held at the Winner’s Dairy Farm. After the meeting the Winners’ allowed members to tour their barn where the robotic milkers have been installed.

Then in May the Anna Livestock held their meeting at the St. Jacob Lutheran Church in Anna. All members donated can food items to give to the Christian Cupboard, which is provided by the church and provides food to approximately five to six families per week.

Anna Homecoming raffle tickets were distributed for club members to sell. Anyone wanting to purchase Anna Homecoming raffle tickets can contact a club member. ‘

The next meeting will be held June 28 at the Anna Park.
